Oxalys, a specialist in procurement and expenditure digitization, announces the acquisition of IA BTP, a key player in procurement data management in the construction industry.
This announcement comes less than a year after the acquisition of COBuy, which allowed Oxalys to expand its offerings to include industrial procurement and supplier quality management for demanding markets such as food processing, automotive, and aerospace. Now, Oxalys extends its leadership in the construction sector, confirming its position as a reference in procurement digitization for SMEs and mid-sized companies.
IA BTP Accelerates Its Development and Joins the Oxalys Group
Arriving at a pivotal moment in IA BTP’s growth strategy, Oxalys provides the financial and technological means to support its ambitions.
Founded in 2018 in Marseille by Saïd Abidi and bringing together a team of Data Scientists, IA BTP has established itself in just a few years as a central partner for construction professionals, helping them in their digital transformation. The company notably launched the first “Procurement Robot” dedicated to SMEs in the sector. Its goal is to simplify companies’ lives so they can focus on their core business. To date, over 150 companies already trust IA BTP.

Oxalys thus expands its offerings in the construction segment and today asserts itself as the leader in procurement digitization for mid-sized organizations. The newly combined entity will be able to offer a diverse portfolio to digitize procurement for construction companies (whether or not they have a procurement department). Moreover, by integrating into the Oxalys group, IA BTP will gain access to numerous resources that will allow it to continuously launch new features.
Pierre Joudiou of Oxalys states, “We aim to bring together a coherent range of procurement digitization solutions for SMEs and mid-sized companies. IA BTP, with its data management approach and real sector expertise, will allow us to accelerate our growth in a market undergoing digital transformation. By combining Oxalys’ solution with IA BTP’s data analysis capabilities, the Oxalys group is positioned to strengthen its competitive edge and become the market reference in France and Europe, where the company is already established.”
Saïd Abidi of IA BTP, “We are proud to join the Oxalys group with whom we share the same values of quality, expertise, and innovation. This merger will enable our construction sector clients to access new tools that generate productivity for their procurement teams.”
